You are in for a treat! Join ICB for a special spring concert on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 4 p.m. in beautiful Ford Hall, Ithaca College Whalen Center for Music. Under the baton of Art Carichner, the theme of this concert will be cities and lights with a special nod to France, and will feature George Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue, with piano soloist Marina Gorelaya. Other works on the program include Gershwin's American in Paris, March of the Belgian Paratroopers, by Pierre Leemans, Bacchanale, by Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns, Illumination, by David Maslanka, and Zampa, by J. Ferdinand Herold.
This concert is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome. This program is made possible in part with funding from the Triad Foundation and the Community Foundation of Tompkins County - Ridenour-Shady Family Fund.
