St. Charles Homecoming Picnic

The 121st Homecoming Picnic at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7th, at the church, 701 Walnut St., Genoa, Wis. Most events will be held outdoors, with dining options available inside the adjacent school. Each Pogy's Chicken-Q meal will include a serving of homemade risotto, which is a cheesy rice delicacy passed down through generation after generation of many of the Italian immigrants who settled in the area. Entry to the Homecoming Picnic is free and open to the public. Meals cost $15 each, although smaller hot dog plates will also be available for younger attendees for $6. Many of the highlights of past Homecoming picnics include food, raffles, bingo and a number of old-fashioned games for kids. Come help dunk locals in our Dunk Tank!
