St. Stanislaus Polish Festival

Dozens of volunteers have been working all summer to create over 20,000 handmade pierogi (a favorite Polish dumpling filled with kraut, potato, or sweet cheese). In addition, the menu features golabki (cabbage rolls), Polish sausage, hot dogs, burgers, and Sloppy Joe's, also desserts, domestic beer and Zywiec Polish beer. Four polka bands will play live dance music throughout the day. Attractions include the grocery booth, plant booth, cake walk, children's rides and games, ham/bacon/salami booth, and raffles. Parking is available at Metropolitan Community College South Campus at 2909 Edward "Babe" Gomez Avenue (30th & Q Streets) with a free ride to the Festival on Ollie the Trolley.
