You are also invited to take a leisurely stroll through our beautiful grounds and explore the historic Caples House Museum block overlooking the majestic Columbia River - for just $5 a person hear the fascinating story of the Caples family brought to life by our tour guides.

Caples House Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is an Oregon State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (OSSDAR) operated museum, being donated to the OSSDAR in 1959 by Mrs. Dell Caples Houghton, daughter of Dr. Charles G. and Lucinda (McBride) Caples. The Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-political, non-profit volunteer women’s organization focused on historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Caples House is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
