Tangi Animal Friends Gumbo Cook-Off Fundraiser

The 2024 Tangi Animal Friends Gumbo Cook-Off Fundraiser is on Saturday, November 2 in Downtown Hammond and open to the public from 1-5 p.m. As of 9/26, there are still openings for more teams to enter so suggest to your favorite gumbo chef/restaurant that they enter the competition!

Adults and children ages 10 and up will pay a $20 advance/$25 at gate fee to be able to sample all of the gumbos. Children under 10 are free and they also get to taste the gumbos plus get free refreshments, games, and prizes in the Kids Tent. There will be soft drinks for sale and a raffle of locally donated gifts cards and other items. Music, games, and delicious gumbo - what better way to spend a fall Saturday helping a local nonprofit?
