Smithers-based Latin pop superstar Alex Cuba returns to Victoria for a solo performance with more ballads and absolute bangers in his brand-new ninth album, El Swing Que Yo Tengo (2023). This extraordinary GRAMMY-winning artist effortlessly mixes funk, soul, and pan-Latin textures, and brings together contagious melodies, popsoul hooks, and rock chords. Cuba has collaborated with Sheryl Crow, Jason Mraz, Ron Sexsmith and Nelly Furtado. He has accumulated over 20 awards and nominations including four Latin GRAMMYS, two JUNO Awards, one 2022 JUNO nomination, a 2022 GRAMMY Award for his album Mendo, and three GRAMMY nominations.
