Thamesmead Festival 2022

Taking place in the unique urban setting of Southmere Park – with grazing ponies to one side and the estate’s iconic towers on the other – Thamesmead festival is programmed by a dedicated group of local residents. Packed full of home-grown talent, this free, family-friendly festival features live music, performance, comedy and locally-produced food as well as the much-anticipated Dog Show – a firm festival favourite last year. Attracting more than 6000 attendees in 2021, this joyous celebration of all things Thamesmead is fast-becoming a staple in the London cultural calendar. With activities for adults and children running throughout the day and with the newly opened Elizabeth Line making travelling to Abbey Wood that bit easier, Londoners are invited to come and see what Thamesmead has to offer.
