The 37th Annual Best of the Northwest Spring Show

Festival Details - "The 37th Annual Best of the Northwest Spring Show"...

Start: Saturday, April 11, 2026 10:00AM
End: Sunday, April 12, 2026 5:00PM

The 37th Annual Best of the Northwest Spring Show returns to Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park in Seattle on April 11–12, 2026, celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of more than 100 juried Pacific Northwest artists.

Browse and buy original, handmade work across a wide range of mediums - painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber art, printmaking, and more. Every piece is one-of-a-kind and made by the artist you'll meet right at their booth.

Through Artists in Action live demonstrations, watch creators work in real time and get a behind-the-scenes look at their techniques and inspiration - a rare chance to connect with the creative process, not just the finished work.

This year's featured special exhibit comes from the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association, showcasing exceptional stone sculptures with live carving demonstrations throughout the weekend. Larger works will be displayed across the gallery and main hangar space. Young visitors ages 5–17 can also try their hand at free youth soapstone carving workshops, guided by experienced sculptors. Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended. Accompanying parents or guardians must have an entry ticket (children 12 and under enter free).

Two debut artists will be showing their work for the very first time through the Northwest Art Alliance's Emerging Artist Program, which pairs up-and-coming creatives with established mentors. This year's recipients - painter Rachael Engell and ceramic artist Erica Duke - can be found at booths H1 and H2.

In the dining area, a community "Garden" art mural grows all weekend - grab a marker and add your own spring-themed creation. No experience needed. Local Seattle-area food vendors are also on hand, including espresso from Filter and Shot Coffee Company, kettle corn from Simply Kettle Co, Eastern European bites from Slavic Bites, Asian comfort food from Nana's Bites, and seafood from Finn Anthony's. Indoor dining is available with easy re-entry to the venue.

Free parking is available at Magnuson Park, with ADA parking in the front and back lots. The venue is fully ADA accessible. Only service animals are permitted inside per City of Seattle ordinances.

Advance tickets are $5, $8 at the door, with children 12 and under free. One ticket is valid for both days. Volunteers are welcome and receive free weekend admission. Visit nwartalliance.org to view participating artists, register for carving workshops, or sign up to volunteer.
