The GroovaLottos are a multi-Grammy-nominated soul-funk powerhouse known for their electrifying blend of soul, blues, jazz, and funk with deep roots in the Afro-Indigenous music traditions of the American East Coast. Hailed as the godfathers of the New England Thump & Soul movement, this dynamic band delivers high-energy performances that ignite dance floors and uplift audiences with infectious grooves, masterful musicianship, and thought-provoking storytelling. Their sound, reminiscent of classic funk and soul legends yet distinctly original, has earned them a reputation as one of the most compelling live acts in the underground music scene. Whether headlining festivals, tearing up clubs, or dropping critically acclaimed records, The GroovaLottos bring the funk, the soul, and the undeniable vibe. This performance is part of the weekly Lobster on the Lawn series and is free. Lobster rolls, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, veggie wraps and Polar beverages will be available for purchase beginning at 4:30 pm. The public is welcome to picnic inside the tent or on the lawn.
