Slatington Airport, Slatington, PA's Spooktacular Balloon Festival September 5–7, 2025 Prepare yourself for an incredible weekend in the Lehigh Valley! At the stunning Slatington Airport, the Spooktacular Balloon Festival is making a comeback for its sixth year. You won't want to miss this event, which offers family-friendly fun and amazing hot air balloon rides. Rides on Hot Air Balloons Discover the skies in a whole new way! Visitors might select from: Rides with tethers A more manageable, family-friendly experience in which balloons gently float back down after rising slightly above the ground. Ideal for children, beginners, or anyone wishing to experience ballooning for the first time. Adventures in Full Flight Up to 30 balloons will launch together for an approximately one-hour flight above the picturesque Lehigh River and Appalachian Mountains. Make lifelong memories at this moment! It is highly advised to book in advance to secure your place, particularly on full flights that sell out rapidly. Attractions & Entertainment In addition to the balloons, the celebration will include: Live Performances & Music Energy is brought to the stage by local musicians, entertainers, magicians, and fire jugglers. Enjoyable Family Time Interactive displays, kids' games, a petting zoo, and inflatables. Fireworks & Laser Show Watch the sky light up in a magnificent finale on Friday and Saturday nights.
