Live Demonstrations Demonstrations are an important part of our Festival’s craft program, as they provide an opportunity for patrons to interact directly with our artisans. Demonstrations of blacksmithing, woodworking, weaving, and other traditional crafts provide insights into the skills and techniques of the Renaissance era. Displays of swordsmanship, archery, and other weaponry skills offer a glimpse into the martial aspects of the period. Animal Interactions Camel and Horse rides add an exotic and memorable element to the Renaissance Faire experience. Petting zoos offer a fun and educational opportunity for attendees of all ages to interact with animals. Rides are typically not machine powered; various animal rides and human-powered swings are common. Food & Games There are food and beverage vendors, as well as game and ride areas. Games include basic skills events such as archery or ax-throwing as well as other games of skill. We have a variety of food choices to choose from! Come enjoy some renaissance favorites like a turkey leg or fish n chips! Action Packed Entertainment! Our Faire's include a Full contact joust tournament as a main attraction Jousting is a central attraction at our Renaissance faires, showcasing knights on horseback competing in a martial game. These tournaments often involve knights charging at each other with lances, attempting to strike their opponent's shields or armor to score points. Renaissance festivals recreate the excitement and pageantry of these medieval events, emphasizing chivalry and skill.
