Festival Details - "The Nanga Naach"...
Start: Friday, November 14, 2025 5:00PM
End: Friday, November 14, 2025 11:00PM
The Nanga Naach (Hindi for “The Naked Dance”) is a first-of-its-kind clothing-optional cocktail event for cancer awareness and solidarity. It will take place at The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver on November 14 and aims to open a global conversation about body freedom, healing, and compassion.
The event highlights an often-unspoken challenge faced by cancer patients—fabric sensitivity and skin discomfort after radiation therapy. By giving attendees the freedom to wear what they feel comfortable in (or nothing at all), the event symbolizes solidarity with those who cannot tolerate clothing due to treatment-related pain.
Guests can expect an unforgettable night with DJ entertainment, food trucks, local cocktail vendors, and an uplifting community atmosphere. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Save Your Skin Foundation and Vancouver Friends for Life Society, two BC-based charities supporting cancer patients and survivors.
The Nanga Naach is not just an event—it is the start of a global movement that will expand from Vancouver to other parts of Canada, the United States, and Europe, spreading awareness in a creative, compassionate, and empowering way.
Come be part of history, raise your glass for a cause, and celebrate freedom, confidence, and humanity in one of Vancouver’s most unique gatherings.
