The Tennessee Four featuring Thomas Gabriel, the grandson of the legendary Johnny Cash - to Receive Honorary Recognition from the South Carolina Entertainment and Music Hall of Fame at Special Event in Greenville.

The South Carolina Entertainment and Music Hall of Fame is proud to present a special night of music and recognition at the Greenville Theatre on May 9th, 2025. This event will honor The Tennessee Four with an honorary recognition for their invaluable contributions to the Hall of Fame and their dedication to preserving South Carolina’s rich entertainment history.

Kerry Marx, lead guitarist of The Tennessee Four, is not only a Grand Ole Opry music producer but also a 2023 inductee into the South Carolina Entertainment and Music Hall of Fame. Additionally, Marx is an original band member of Johnny Cash, alongside Dennis Crouch and Paul Leim. Adding to the evening’s significance, this extraordinary performance will feature Johnny Cash's grandson, Thomas Gabriel, on vocals—bringing the legendary Cash sound to life once again.

Kicking off the night will be a special opening performance by Benton Blount, as seen on America’s Got Talent!
