The Voices of Flower Mound present Simple Gifts

The Voices of Flower Mound were fortunate enough to make their Carnegie Hall debut in New York City last February in a program of music by the internationally renowned composer-conductor Mack Wilberg, currently Music Director of the equally renowned Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (formerly known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir). The program, entitled "Simple Gifts", consisted of paeans to the overwhelming power of God and the gifts of nature, music and spirituality He has bestowed upon us. As one of the most inspiring programs we have ever performed, we decided to bring the program closer to home for all of you, and expand on it with additional music in tribute to some of your favorite hymns and spirituals. Among the works you’ll hear are "Fairest Lord Jesus", "Great is Thy Faithfulness", "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty", "Precious Lord (Take My Hand)", "Simple Gifts", "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot", and many others, all in stunning arrangements that are sure to move and inspire you. As a special treat, many of the pieces will be accompanied by the grandeur of the magnificent pipe organ at Lamb of God Lutheran Church and its 1,099 pipes.
