In the first of four concerts to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vaughan Williams, Roderick Williams takes inspiration from his Songs of Travel in a programme exploring the idea of the archetypal Romantic wanderer who rejects society in favour of solitude and a wayfaring life on the open road.
