Syrah wines are described as floral, fruity, peppery, savory, earthy, and many other flavors depending on the vineyard climate and winemaking choices. Wines from France, Australia, and Washington demonstrate some of the different faces of syrah. Through tasting, instruction, and discussion, participants will increase their understanding of and appreciation for syrah.

A guided tasting of 3 wines is included. Limited to 10 participants.

About the Instructor:
Matt Frazier is the proprietor of Drum Roll Wine, a graduate of the Northwest Wine Academy, a French Wine Scholar with highest honors, and he holds an Advanced certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Matt's passionate about making wine more accessible and easier to enjoy for all.
