Uncle Nearest Whiskey Pairing Event at Hyatt Regency Hill Country

Antlers Lodge, the newly-renovated signature restaurant at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa, has partnered with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, the first African-American female-owned spirit brand in the country, to host a pairing dinner in honor of Black History Month in February. The dining experience will begin with a first course of a black truffle beef carpaccio topped with Manchego whiskey foam and paired with a Sparkling Pecan cocktail, followed by a second course of an herbed goat cheese croquette salad paired with a tasting of Uncle Nearest’s newest Green Label Whiskey. The meal continues with cast iron-seared scallops served with prosciutto and lemon pearls and paired with an 1884 small batch whiskey tasting, followed by a fourth course of bison osso bucco paired with a smoked maple old fashioned. For dessert, diners will enjoy a serving of a peach cobbler upside down cake served with whiskey caramel and butter pecan ice cream and paired with a blackberry mocha martini.
