We all know famous composers, singers, celebrities and historical figures who have left this world too soon; one of the most famous was Marilyn Monroe who was 'eulogized' in the song "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Join Voices West for a unique and powerful concert of eclectic musical styles spanning 300 years as we remember creative powerhouses and personalities that left this world too soon. A multi-media event, this concert will feature classical music by Mozart, Schubert, and Gershwin side-by-side with popular music by Elton John, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, Otis Redding, Freddie Mercury, and more! A more unique choral music experience will not be found in the metro area!
Two performances: Friday, 3/7/25 at 7:30pm, Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S Datura St, Littleton, CO 80120 and Sunday, 3/9/25 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 1401 E. Dry Creek Rd., Centennial. *The Sunday, 3/9 performance will be livestreamed.* Doors open ½ hour before the performance.
