Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival has traditionally been Hawaii’s largest celebration of the love for the iconic brand throughout the state. The event took a two-year hiatus because of the COVID pandemic and returned in 2022 with a celebration of SPAM® products at various participating Waikiki restaurants. This year’s festival will feature three stages of live performances, food and retail booths, arts and crafts, keiki activities and appearances by SPAMMY™ characters and friends. As with every year, Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival will offer a custom, collectable t-shirt for purchase and a locally designed reusable tote bag, and more. For two weeks after the street festival, from April 30 to May 14, SPAM® dishes will be specially featured at various participating restaurants. Those locations to be announced at a later date. Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival continues its philanthropic initiative in 2023 with a portion of the Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival proceeds donated to the Hawaii Foodbank, Visitor Aloha Society Hawai’i (VASH) and the Waikiki Community Center. The Hawaii Food Bank will be onsite to accept canned food and monetary donations at locations throughout the festival.
