Start: Sunday, December 8, 2024 12:00PM
End: Sunday, December 8, 2024 6:00PM
In the church's village, you will pass spice vendors, Roman soldiers, a tent maker and a few working carpenters, weavers, storytellers, a synagogue, people operating an olive press and potters, as well as a census taker as Caesar Augustus has told all people of Judea to return to their homes of origin for the purpose of taxation. Outdoors are live animals including sheep, goats, a camel and, of course, Mary and Joseph with the Christ child in swaddling clothes and three Wise Men bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. "Walk Thru Bethlehem" is a free event that attracts about 5,000 people each
year. This spectacular experience has become a family tradition that starts the Christian holiday season. "Walk Thru Bethlehem" will be held at Woodmont Christian Church, at the corner of Hillsboro Road and Woodmont Boulevard in Green Hills, on December 8th from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.
