WELCOME SPRING - Afternoon Tea at the Homeplace

The Friends of Lucy Breckinridge are hosting a fundraising afternoon tea. Music, parlor games with prizes, home tours, and guest speaker. Period attire welcome! A variety of teas, soup, dainty sandwiches and savories, relish & cheese trays, scones, and fancy desserts will be served. Makes a great gift for Mother's Day, graduation, birthdays or anniversaries. Our guest speaker Debra Sifford will speak about Varina Davis and 'On Being a Lady'. Age: 13+, No pets please except registered service animals. To date, we have cleaned 21 headstones at Godwin Cemetery, Fincastle. There are approx. 150 veterans buried at Godwin, and these funds will be used to purchase supplies to enable us to continue this much needed work.
