The Wine and Chocolate Festival comes to the Crown Center on Saturday, February 16th. Attendees are invited to Sip and Shop their way through the festival, sampling a variety of North Carolina Wines and Distilled products while savoring a selection of tasty nibbles and sweets; chocolates and treats.
Attendees can enjoy tastings from local chocolatiers, bakeries and sweet shops as well as savor sauces, jellies, jams, spreads, and gourmet treats from local specialty vendors. Culinary students and Chefs from the Fayetteville Technical Community College Culinary Department will have an interactive display providing premiere Chocolate confections to patrons. Jewelry and art from area artisans will be selling their wares. Single glasses of wine and full bottles will be available for purchase from the top North Carolina Wineries.
A dollar from each ticket sold will benefit C.E.E.D. (The Center for Economic Empowerment and Development of Fayetteville), a local nonprofit with a 28-year history of serving individuals and families. C.E.E.D.’s mission is to serve as a resource and advocacy center to help clients find their strengths to succeed. C.E.E.D.’s newest project is to build a shared commercial kitchen space and a commissary space in Fayetteville. Find out more at https://www.ncceed.org/
