This year’s edition features a standout lineup led by acclaimed singer-songwriter Cass McCombs, celebrated guitarist and composer Marisa Anderson, and Seattle’s Von Wildenhaus. The roster is also chock full of outstanding Montana talent, showcasing the depth and creativity of the region’s vibrant music community. In a special milestone for Montana music fans, Cass McCombs will perform in Montana for the first time. Widely regarded as one of the most respected and enduring voices in independent music, McCombs has built a singular career across numerous acclaimed albums, earning praise for his songwriting, emotional depth, and ever-evolving sound. Also joining the festival is Marisa Anderson, the internationally recognized guitarist, composer, and solo performer whose deeply expressive instrumental work spans country, blues, ambient, and experimental traditions. Her connection to the region is especially meaningful: Anderson released an album titled Bitterroot Suite, inspired by the very Bitterroot Valley where Woodtick takes place. Rounding out the featured artists is Von Wildenhaus from Seattle, bringing their distinctive sound and adventurous spirit to the mountains of western Montana.
