Wooly Fair, a participatory art carnival that is unique to Providence and legendary for its variety, creativity and immersive playfulness, returns to the Steel Yard on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 after a 10-year hiatus. The event is built by artists and artists-at-heart whose installations, handmade carnival games, performances and spectacles offer something for everyone! With musical performances by Triangle Forest, Atlantic Thrills, Tim O’Keefe, Sun Urchins and Big Bank, and a Wooly Alley Vinyl Dance Party, plus 17 interactive art installations and carnival games! Funded in part by a grant from Rhode Island State Council on the Arts.
