Worthys Festival Returns for the 10th time – A Free Celebration of Community, Music, and Local Talent The Worthys Festival is back – and this year marks a very special milestone as the much-loved community event celebrates its 10th anniversary. Taking place on Saturday 13th September 2025 at Eversley Park, Kings Worthy, the festival is free to enter and remains unique among local music events for its community-driven spirit: created by local people, for local people. From 12 noon until 11pm, festival-goers can enjoy a packed programme of live performances from some of the area’s most exciting talent. The line-up includes Winston, Blacksmith, The Hyde Quartet, singer-songwriter Zoe, Slap the Willow, The Wonstons, Shades of Grey, Flaxen Hill, and will conclude with the ever-popular Ghrollercoaster. Alongside the music, there’s something for everyone. The festival field will feature: • A community BBQ run by the Scouts (who also provide vital support in setting up the festival). • Delicious food and drink including pizzas, La Cala Spanish dishes, afternoon teas, a Pimm’s Bar, wine bar, all-day coffee cart, and locally brewed beer courtesy of Alfred’s Brewery. • Family-friendly activities such as face-painting, a soccer shoot-out, ice cream and a fun dog show. • Craft stalls, a cocktail bar, and all the facilities of the Worthys Sports & Social Club. Festival organisers are encouraging visitors to walk or cycle to Eversley Park where possible, as parking is extremely limited and reserved for those with accessibility needs or heavy equipment. The No 6 Stagecoach bus will be running its usual half hourly service from Winchester. Respect for local residents is paramount, so attendees are urged not to block roads or driveways.
