What To Expect ? - Two-day programme of industry-led Game Talks (11–12 February) - Workshops covering art, animation, production, audio and coding - Networking opportunities with studios and fellow creators - Free gameplay across 20+ stations during half-term - Family gaming activities including coding sessions and creative challenges - Big-screen gaming, gaming-themed films and live shows - Test new games from local developers and try out new board games About ? The Yorkshire Games Festival returns to the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford from Wednesday 11th to Sunday 22nd February 2026, offering two exciting weeks packed with gaming culture, creativity and industry insight. Bringing together gamers, families, developers, students and professionals, the festival features inspiring talks from world-class studios, hands-on workshops, free gameplay zones and a full programme of half-term fun for all ages. Why Visit ? This annual celebration of games design and production is a must for anyone curious about how games are made or keen to take their first steps into the industry. The opening Game Talks on 11th and 12th February offer deep insight into art, animation, music, audio and production, led by professionals whose credits include Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, DOOM, Hogwarts Legacy and Thank Goodness You’re Here.
