Presented by Buttonwood Nature Center. FREE. Geared for kids of all ages, the event features a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the day. Featured entertainment is Bluegrass & Tall Tales, performed by Bright Star Touring Theatre. Enjoy a toe-tapping great time! Bright Star Theatre’s musician actors take the audience on a journey across America, playing bluegrass classics, and then bringing to life celebrated American Tall Tales. From Paul Bunyan to a classic Appalachian Jack Tale, this show is brimming with lessons and wild characters. Waynesboro Children’s Theatre Troupe will perform, and activity stations with area artists and organizations provide more fun.
