Founded in 2015 by the vibrant duo Ann Madden and Sandy Maggio, Frida Fest is a grand tribute to the legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. This festival celebrates diversity, uplifts artists, and helps make a positive impact in our community. Each year, our beloved Frida look-alike contest raises funds for a meaningful cause - and this year, all proceeds benefit El Pueblo. El Pueblo is a nonprofit organization serving low-income immigrants across Mississippi by providing professional, low-cost humanitarian and family-based immigration legal services. Our look-alike contest welcomes everyone—women, men, children, and especially your beloved pets! You can sign up on our website at mockingbirdcafe.com or register on the day of the event until 6 PM.
