2025 Fall Festival The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts’ annual Fall Festival will be held on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2025. Friday, September 12 Chalk Walk, 8 AM to 2 PM Teachers, students, and adult artists are invited to participate in Chalk Walk 2025. This year’s theme: Renaissance. The word “renaissance” means “rebirth” in French. There have been many renaissance eras throughout history so maybe you’re inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Maybe a technology renaissance. Or maybe you’re inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. Whatever your renaissance, we want to celebrate it on our sidewalks! Preview and Party, 5:30 PM to 8 PM Join us as we kickoff the Fall Festival with a night of celebration! Get dibs on work from local artists and vendors at the Artist Market, enjoy tasty bites from Funky Forte, groove to live music performed by Jonathan Michael, participate in lively artmaking activities, and sip on a delicious specialty cocktail to celebrate! Saturday, September 13, 10 AM to 5 PM Come to the museum for a full day of fun! The Fall Festival is a free event that celebrates our vibrant and creative culture, featuring both local and regional artists from all backgrounds. This free public event features the artist market with more than 30 vendors, live music, featured artist demos, food trucks, and tastings with local brewers. The 2025 Fall Festival Artist Market Call All local artists and makers are encouraged to apply for the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts’ annual Fall Festival! The artist market component of Fall Festival offers a beautiful array of works in various price ranges, from striking fine art to charming gifts. Work for sale may include visual arts (painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and digital art), fabric, clothing and accessories, jewelry, and handcrafted items (sculpture, ceramics, glass, woodworking, and more). Abrakadoodle —Fun for All Ages We’re thrilled to partner once again with Abrakadoodle to bring hands-on creativity to this year’s Fall Festival! While parents and caregivers explore the vibrant artist market, kids can dive into their own artistic adventure. Free 30-Minute Art Classes Ages 5–8 and 9–12 Led by professional teaching artists from Abrakadoodle Each child will create a unique piece of art to take home!
