2026 Victoria Tea Festival Revival

The Victoria Tea Festival Revival marks its 11th anniversary on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM at Nootka Court (633 Courtney Street). Presented by the International Tea Appreciation Society (ITAS), this milestone event invites tea lovers and the tea-curious alike to gather for a full day of tasting, learning, and celebration.

This year’s festival offers a farm-to-cup experience, connecting guests directly with teas sourced from around the world. Festival highlights include:

The Tea Fair – A farmer’s market–style showcase featuring tea tastings and demonstrations by leading merchant educators from across Canada, Vancouver, and beyond, including @thechineseteashop, @Camelliasenensis @teakan.co, @softer.drink, and @JagaSilk.

The Symposium – Expert talks on Discovery and Creation of Tea in India, Decolonizing Indonesian Tea production, Intergenerational transfer of tea roasting knowledge, Japanese Tea Ceremony and more, hosted by Jen (@teamistress) and Jared (@jagasilk). This year’s symposium will also be live-streamed on the society’s YouTube channel.

The World Tea Championship – Returning for its 5th year, hosted by @cloudwalkertea, where participants showcase their skills in competitive Gongfu tea-making.

Rare and Antique Teaware Gallery – Featuring rare and historic teaware, including teapots over 400 years old.

Live Music & Food – Creating a vibrant community atmosphere throughout Nootka Court.
