48th Annual Southbury Strawberry Festival

The United Church of Christ, Southbury, invites the community to join them for the 48th Annual Southbury Strawberry Festival on the spacious church green located at 283 Main Street North, in Southbury, CT, Saturday, June 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. rain or shine.

Come and enjoy fresh strawberry shortcakes with homemade whipped cream, live music by Nick DePuy, Haley Reardon, and Adelaide Punkin, homemade baked goods including strawberry pies, grilled burgers and hot dogs, food trucks featuring Ben and Jerry's ice cream, The Kitchen by Red Apple Catering, Kim's Arctic Ice, and Colossal Kielbasa, raffle prizes, children's games and activities, a real live fire truck and ambulance, as well as 30+ artisans and vendors for super shoppers.

Our strawberry shortcake is the freshest! Strawberries are hulled on site, then served up on delicious shortcake, and topped with freshly made, real whipped cream. And chocolate dipped strawberries will be offered.

UCC grill mates will be cooking up hamburgers and Boar's Head hotdogs with all the trimmings, with cold beverages available.

Delicious homemade baked goods, strawberry pies, jams and strawberry treats will be offered under UCC's bake sale.

Shoppers will be delighted with the many different vendors, including: Allen's Creations, As The Wood Turns, Baskets by Mardi, Blessings By Jeriann, Cherldesigns, Color Street/Nailing It, Daffodil Hill Growers, De-stressed, Endless Sunshine, Gina's Quilt Shop, Gracefull Wellness-Isagenix, Hearts Of Stone, Inspired By Cole, Jane's Jewels, Little Bee of CT, Made by Meg, MUUS Garden Plants, Pampered Chef, Pink Petticoats, Piper and Dune, Poppy's Dollhouses, Renewal by Andersen, Rowland Farm Creamery, Soaps for Days, Such Sweet Relief, Sustainable Southbury, The Healing Herb Garden, The Megs Artisans, The Sewing Elf, Touchstone Crystal, Vicinanza Studios and Gallery, Wild Raven Farm, and Woodland Hills Designs.

Children of all ages can visit the Kids Zone featuring games and activities, such as bean bag toss, tic tac toe and ring toss, face painting, crafting, as well as an inflatable bouncy house. There will also be a real fireman for the kids to talk to and fire truck to visit, provided by the Southbury Volunteer Firemen's Association and real rescuers from the Southbury Ambulance Association.

Entry to the Strawberry Festival is free. All activities benefit the missions and outreach of the United Church of Christ, Southbury. Make plans to join us!
