The 2023 Multicultural Music Festival In Peoria

Celebrate 50 years of Latin and R&B Music with “Tierra” Legacy band. The band includes original and longtime members who created timeless music and the Eastside sounds of Los Angeles. The festival salutes founding guitarist, Rudy Salas who passed away in 2021. Their biggest hit was the remake of The Intruders’ hit “Together” written by Gamble & Huff, which reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 9 on the US Billboard chart. It was a No. 1 on Los Angeles radio.
Also performing are “The Intruders” whos hits include: “Cowboys to Girls”, “I wanna know your name”, “United" and many others.
Peoria Arts and Culture, The Northwest Black History Committee and Vibrant Community presents the 25th annual event, February 11, 2023, during National Black History Month and Super Bowl weekend. Centennial Plaza Park is located just 8 minutes from State Farm Stadium (site of 2023 Superbowl)
Over the past 25 years,the event has featured artist like; The Mighty Clouds of Joy, War, CeCe Peniston, Joe McBride, Ramsey Lewis, Stanley Jordan, Bobby Rush, Carl Carlton, Little Joe y La Familia and many others. The festival also include art, dance, vendors, food, car show and medical screening and awareness stations. A free low-impact boot camp conducted by a certified personal trainer starts at 11:00 AM.
