The City of Waterloo is proud to participate in America 250, the nationwide celebration honoring the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Join us on July 4, 2026 for a morning full of community spirit and patriotic fun, featuring a Fun Run, Parade, and Community Festival in the heart of Waterloo! This family-friendly event will include: ?? Fun Run (all ages welcome) ???? Patriotic Parade ?? Community Festival with live entertainment, activities, and more! ?? Location: Downtown Waterloo / Courthouse Square ? Time: 9am-2pm Whether you're participating or cheering from the sidelines, there will be something for everyone as we celebrate this historic milestone together. This morning celebration is designed to complement other Independence Day festivities, allowing residents to enjoy their traditional celebrations and fireworks throughout the region later in the day.
