The Cenla Songwriters Circle is a welcoming, supportive environment for songwriters at all levels, from aspiring to professional. All genres are welcome. No pressure, no judgment, no egos. *21 & older* What to expect: The songwriters gathered for the evening will be playing their original compositions, each taking a turn, one song at a time, and continuing around the Circle until our time runs out. Rather than a performance, this is an opportunity for songwriters to share their songs, tell the stories behind the songs, discuss songwriting techniques, network with other songwriters, and learn about upcoming opportunities at songwriter festivals and other songwriter events. No amps are provided. You may bring one if you’d like, but the volume will be kept to the level of the other instruments in the Circle. If you would like to bring a keyboard, that’s fine also. Please note that the CenLa Songwriters Circle is for original music only, no covers allowed. This meeting is held on the first Wednesday of every month!
