Start: Monday, November 10, 2025 7:00PM
End: Saturday, November 22, 2025 5:00PM
Come join us for the first ever Cowboy Safari Autumn Round-Up, an unforgettable end-of-November festival celebrating the spirit of the American West with a safari twist. Picture wide open prairie, roaming “safari” style horseback trails, campfire cook-outs, live country and folk music, artisan craft stalls and gourmet food trucks. At dusk the ranch transforms into a glowing prairie camp where guests gather around fire pits for storytelling, acoustic sets and stargazing.
Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a first-time explorer, the Cowboy Safari Round-Up has activities for everyone: guided trail rides, lasso lessons, cowboy hat decorating, a “trailblazer” kids zone, ranch-style barbecues and live bands until late. Cozy up in shared tipi tents or bring your own RV and stay under the stars.
Highlights:
Sunrise horseback “safari” ride across the golden grasslands
Western folk and Americana music from local and touring artists
Artisan market showcasing leather goods, handmade boots, vintage denim and southwestern jewellery
Food-truck village with smoked brisket, vegetarian wild-mushroom chilli, craft beer and mulled cider
Evening campfire sessions: acoustic sets, spoken-word poets, marshmallow roasts
Family area with pony rides, gold-panning, cowboy hat decorating & lasso practice
Late-night “Barn Dance Under the Stars” with DJ set and bonfire
Admission:
General admission includes access to all daytime events; VIP tickets include a two-horse open range ride, premium seating at the barn dance, and a deluxe camp-fire s’mores kit. Accommodation options are available on-site (shared tipi tents, glamping pods, RV hookups).
Travel & Tips:
Wild Ridge Ranch is about 1 hour south of Denver International Airport. Free parking is available on-site; car-pooling encouraged. Dress warmly—nights can drop below freezing in late November. Sturdy boots recommended for trail rides; layers advised for daytime sunshine and cool evenings. Bring your camera: spectacular prairie and ridge views await.
Why Attend:
This is a rare opportunity to mix the rugged charm of cowboy culture with safari-style outdoor adventure just as autumn gives-way to winter. Whether you love live music, open-air experiences, artisan crafts or simply want to disconnect and ride into the sunset, the Cowboy Safari Autumn Round-Up is tailor-made for that.
