Sokol Detroit will be celebrating our susquentennial anniversary. We are kicking off our celebration with our annual 46th Czech and Slovak festival at 23600.West Warren Ave, Dearborn Heights, MI. This year's 2day festival on July 19th and 20th will commemorate our "150 Years Anniversary " celebration. We are very proud to be the oldest nonprofit organization in the greater Detroit metro area. Enjoy this affordable fun-filled event for families of all ages. Live entertainment daily from 3 different bands and The Kolomeyka Ukrainian Dancers. Sat: AARON DUSSING 2-8 on the Dance Floor and KEN DOWLING 3:30-6:30 in the Outdoor Social Pavilion . SUN: KEN DOWLING 1-7 on the Dance Floor and ROB DeBLANDER 3:30-6:30 -in the Outdoor Social Pavilion. Savor our ethnic foods served throughout the day by our award-winning Central Regional Chef of the year-Frank Turchan JR. We guarantee you won't go home! Eat your fill of homemade Kolaches-a Czech dessert featured on a local Detroit TV station. Enjoy refreshing imported beers in our air-conditioned hall or sit in our Outdoor Social Pavilion for a sing-a-long. Stop by the Pastry booth or our Czech/ Slovak vendors for some take home goodies.
