KENMORE FARMERS MARKET RETURNS JUNE 21 WITH MORE THAN 50 LOCAL PRODUCERS, LIVE MUSIC, AND COMMUNITY FUN: Beloved producer-only market kicks off its 2026 season on Father’s Day in the heart of the Village of Kenmore Sunday mornings are about to get a whole lot tastier. The Kenmore Farmers Market returns to the Village Green on Sunday, June 21, launching another season of fresh local food, live music, and community connection. Running every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 25, the market brings together nearly 60 Western New York growers, food producers, and specialty makers in one vibrant outdoor gathering space. More than a shopping destination, the market has become a Sunday morning tradition where visitors gather with family and friends, enjoy breakfast and live music on the Village Green, and connect with the people behind the products they purchase. Located at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Delaware Road on the Municipal Green, the producer-only market offers shoppers the opportunity to buy directly from the people who grow, raise, bake, roast, and craft the products they bring to market each week. “I’m incredibly proud of the community that has grown around this market,” said Market Director Lauren Willett-Benson, who is entering her 10th season directing the market. “What began as a place to buy local food has become a weekly tradition where neighbors connect, families spend time together, and small businesses thrive. We love that people come together with friends and neighbors and linger awhile. It has truly become a community gathering space. Every purchase supports a real person, a local family, and our regional economy.” Visitors can shop for seasonal produce, artisan breads, bagels, pastries, local honey, fresh flowers, specialty pantry goods, small-batch beverages, prepared foods, and unique handcrafted products. Hungry shoppers can enjoy breakfast and brunch favorites while listening to live music and exploring the market’s rotating lineup of guest vendors and community organizations. Opening Day coincides with Father’s Day and features a special collaboration with Kenmore Porchfest. Local musicians will perform throughout the market in an unplugged preview of the annual Porchfest celebration taking place throughout the Village the following weekend. The market’s weekly programming throughout the season includes live music from 9-1, community partners, and special guest appearances designed to create a welcoming experience for visitors of all ages.
