Llangollen Railway 50th Birthday Ball

On the evening of Friday 12th September 2025, the Llangollen Railway Trust will be holding a Charity Fundraising Ball to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the re-opening of the Llangollen Heritage Railway and to raise much needed funds to help us secure the next 50 years of preservation and history. This fantastic event will take place at the Wild Pheasant Hotel in Llangollen. Guests will enjoy a red-carpet arrival to live music and photo opportunities, followed by a sumptuous three course meal whilst listening to a classical pianist. To complete the evening, there will be a disco and dance. We are also hoping to host an auction and raffle during the evening to raise further funds for specific railway projects. It is a black-tie affair, with a “Green and Gold” theme. The event poster is attached.
