Part coming-of-age memoir, part adventure story, Tap Dancing on Everest is about a young medical student raised in N.Y.C., who battles self-doubt to serve as the doctor—and only woman—on a remote Everest climb in Tibet, capturing the curiosity and awe of a young woman as she faces down the messages to stay small and safe, and ventures into the unknown.
