Celebrate fall and discover Missouri Agroforestry with the MU Center for Agroforestry at the Missouri Chestnut Roast Festival, a free, family-friendly event, held on Saturday, October 18, from 10 am to 3 pm at the MU Horticulture and Agroforestry Research Farm in New Franklin. Enjoy roasted chestnuts, an agroforestry crop-based lunch, hay wagon rides, live music, kids’ activities, exhibits on conversation and agriculture, and local farm, craft, and food vendors.
