Taking place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the First Congregational Church of Oakland, this intergenerational festival brings together artists, organizers, healers, musicians, and community members for a powerful celebration rooted in collective liberation and joy. Through live music, workshops, movement experiences, community dialogue, and evening performances, the festival uplifts the role of art as a force for transformation and social change. Centering women, queer, and BIPOC voices across genres and generations, Our Freedom Festival invites participants into a space of healing justice, embodied expression, and collective care inspired by Oakland’s long legacy of movement-building and cultural resistance. ?
