Rock the Rec is Clewer and Dedworth’s very own summer music festival – a celebration of local talent, community pride, and togetherness. Held at the beautiful Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground, the event transforms the park into a vibrant hub of music, food, family fun, and community spirit. From live bands to children’s entertainment, from mouth-watering street food to craft stalls, and from funfair rides to chillout spaces – Rock the Rec offers something for everyone. Whether you come with friends, family, or neighbours, you’ll find a warm welcome and an unforgettable day out. Now in its fourth year, Rock the Rec is proudly organised by Clewer and Dedworth Together CIC, a not-for-profit organisation committed to building a stronger, fairer and more connected community. ?? Our Vision To create a vibrant, inclusive community in Clewer and Dedworth where everyone feels connected, valued, and empowered. We promote unity and participation while working to reduce inequality and improve lives. ?? Our Mission Clewer and Dedworth Together CIC strengthens community spirit and promotes social equity through inclusive events and grassroots initiatives. From the very first Christmas Fair to our flagship Rock the Rec festival, our work is driven by a simple but powerful idea: when we come together, we all thrive. ?? What to Expect at Rock the Rec ?? Main Stage & Community Stage – Enjoy a fantastic line-up of tribute acts and local performers, covering everything from indie and rock to soul and pop. Our Community Stage gives soloists and small groups the chance to shine – especially young and emerging talent from the local area. ?? Funfair & Family Zone – We’ve got rides, inflatables, games, and creative children’s activities, all designed to keep little ones entertained all day long. Plus, our community volunteers are always on hand to help. ?? Street Food & Licensed Bars – Sample a wide range of food stalls, from wood-fired pizza and loaded fries to global flavours and sweet treats. Adults can unwind with a drink from our fully licensed bar areas. ?? Craft & Market Stalls – Support local makers and small businesses by browsing our bustling craft fair – ideal for gifts, treats and unique finds. ?? Inclusive Spaces – We’ve made sure to include accessible paths, quieter areas for those with sensory needs, and volunteers trained to offer support. Rock the Rec is designed for everyone. ?? Why Your Ticket Matters When you buy a ticket to Rock the Rec, you’re not just enjoying a great day out – you’re making a real difference. All proceeds go directly back into the local community.
