Sandwich Arts Alliance invites you to visit Sandwich Village during this week long celebration Saturday, July 12th through Saturday July 19th with tickets, reservations and more information available at www.sandwichartsalliance.org. The events are listed below. Saturday, July 12th and 19th, 9:30 am - 11:30 am: Mixed Media Flower Workshop led by Jacqui Hawk. In this two-hour class, enjoy the therapeutic process of creating a mixed media hydrangea using paper collage, markers, beads, buttons, and special personal objects. Tuesday, July 15th, 10 am - 4 pm: CL Fonari’s Garden Tour - Step into a lush, vibrant oasis as you embark on a captivating garden tour at the enchanting 2.5 acre property of two passionate plant enthusiasts. Wednesday, July 16th with seatings at 11 am and 2 pm: “Dunbar House Hydrangea Tea Party” - Enjoy an authentic hydrangea-themed English Tea! Wednesday, July 16th, 10 am - 4 pm: Blooming Artisan Fair - Visit Cape Cod Artisans Onsite at Mill Creek Park. There will be plenty of demonstrations and a chance to purchase original pieces. Thursday, July 17th, 10 am – 4 pm: Open Art Studio Tours - As part of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce’s Hydrangea & Gardens Festival, six accomplished, award-winning artists will open the secret world of their private studios. Thursday, July 17th, 6 pm - 9 pm: Sunset Pond Party at Lakefield Farms Club House featuring Montilio’s wood fired pizza and other refreshments. Friday, July 18th, 10 am - 4 pm: Jana Dillon’s Garden Tour at the John Pope house overlooking the tidal Mill Creek Marsh. The flower gardens are planted in dense profusion of flowers, which creates an exuberant display of blooms. The SAA Hydrangea Fest is a summer fundraising project supporting the vibrant cultural community in Sandwich and beyond.
