Soddy-Daisy’s Huge Fourth of July Celebration to Feature Fireworks, Family Fun, and Live Music

The City of Soddy-Daisy is thrilled to announce its 2026 Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4th, at the beautiful Soddy Lake Recreation Complex, located at 150 Depot Street. This year’s celebration is extra special as communities across America come together to honor the nation’s 250th birthday with a full day of patriotic fun, live entertainment, family activities, and unforgettable memories. Festivities begin at 10 AM and continue all day long through 11 PM, offering exciting attractions and entertainment for all ages. Families can enjoy one of the region’s premier Fourth of July celebrations featuring the community’s beloved annual car show, a large variety of market vendors, mouthwatering food trucks, and plenty of free kids’ activities, games, and giveaways throughout the day. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a full day of summertime fun by the lake. Sports fans and friendly competitors won’t want to miss the action-packed tournaments happening throughout the day. The family-friendly “Liberty Smash Pickleball Tournament” kicks off at 9 AM and welcomes players of all skill levels. Then at 2 PM, the crowd-favorite “Sandlot Wiffle Ball Tournament” takes the field and is open to participants ages 7 and up. Interested participants can still register at Soddy-Daisy.org/4TH Creative community members are also invited to show off their patriotic spirit in the Patriotic Art Competition, open to all ages. Categories include sculpture, mixed media, drawing, painting, and photography, with all entries centered around patriotic themes and American pride. Please note that this is not an on-site activity. All artworks should be created prior to the event. As the sun begins to set, the celebration turns up the energy with an incredible lineup of live music featuring some of the region’s favorite performers: • Habitual Strangers — 5 PM to 6 PM • Tyson Leamon — 6:30 PM to 8 PM • Neon Moon — 8:30 PM to 10 PM • Porch Boy Rebels — 11 PM to 12 AM At dusk, guests will experience a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the night sky in honor of America’s milestone 250th birthday celebration.
