The town of Middleburg will host its sixth Oktoberfest celebration on September 19, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The festivities will take place on South Madison St. and Federal St., which will be closed to vehicular traffic. This fun-filled day will feature two biergartens, traditional German food, live music, German dancers, activities for kids, and festival games. Local beer, wine, cider, and traditional Oktoberfest foods will be available for purchase from local vendors. The event will also feature artwork from local and regional artists. Regional craftspeople will be present throughout the day with exhibits of fine art, pottery, jewelry, wearable art and more. Photo Credit: Derek Anderson
