The Rotary Club of Freedom cordially invites you to join us Saturday, October 21st, as a sponsor of our Uncork Corralitos wine-tasting adventure. We will be featuring local wineries, beer, cider, juices, and three of your favorite food trucks in the lovely outdoor garden at Alladin Nursery. While strolling through Alladin’s garden, you can enjoy the live music by Alex Lucero band. This year Freedom Rotary Club has chosen two non-profits as the beneficiaries for this fundraising event. Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County and El Pájaro Community Development Corporation (CDC) Kitchen Incubator. Freedom Rotary Club is funding a much-needed new kitchen floor for Second Harvest Food Bank so they may prepare healthy meals for their clientele in a safe, clean manner. Additionally, we are funding the “Expanding Opportunities for Food and Farming Entrepreneurs Program” with El Pajaro CDC so they can help food-related small business startups and existing owners build and expand their businesses. Both of these programs help provide much-needed healthy food to our local community. Tickets: $40 in advance up to two weeks before the event. $45 at the door and two weeks before the event.
