Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro, Inc. (CCWI) invites you to celebrate its 35th Anniversary commemorating 35 years of Community Service in Cape May County this Labor Day Holiday, September 1-3, 2023, at our Annual Whitesboro Reunion Festival. Enjoy great speakers, great food, great vendors, great fun, great music and learn more about our programs, services and events.
The theme of this year's reunion is "Be BOLD"! Believe It and Achieve It!
At this festival, we not only have a great time, but we take an opportunity to recognize those who have made an impact in our community at-large, as well as those who have supported our 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and its programs (CCWI Rainbow Homework Club, Summer Camp and Scholarship Program), services (CCWI & Vera Smith Community Food Pantry) and events (Annual John Roberson Golf Tournament and the Annual Whitesboro Reunion Festival) that benefit the residents of Cape May County. The honorees will be Bob Noel, Anna Murphy, Captain Warren Judge-USCG, & McDonalds CMCH. The dynamic speakers are Yolanda N. Melville-Senior Counsel to the New Jersey Attorney General/Director of Community Engagement, and Aaron Campbell-Executive Director of LEVEL UP PHILLY/Pastor Antioch Christian Fellowship.
Our FREE homework club and nominal fee-based summer camp program have welcomed thousands of students and campers to a safe environment full of learning opportunities and fun, while our scholarship program has awarded more than $450K to Cape May County students seeking to further their education in college. The Annual John Roberson Golf Tournament with the sponsorship support of local businesses and golfers aids us in providing those needed scholarships. The CCWI/Vera Smith Community Food Pantry located at the Historic Whitesboro Grammar School open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon is a service that provides food directly to locals suffering from food insecurity. And last but certainly not least, is our annual community festival, the perfect end to the traditional summer season.
We not only invite you to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center in Whitesboro to celebrate 35 years with us Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday, but we ask for your continued supported by participating as a sponsor, advertiser, and/or vendor. You may download the forms to participate from our website (concernedcitizensofwhitesboro.com) or Facebook page (Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro).
PS: There is a fee of $20.00 per person to attend the White Nights In Whitesboro (White Party) on Friday night. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite. There is no entry fee to attend the festival on Saturday and Sunday.
