The Snoqualmie Valley is set to transform into a vibrant, open-air gallery this summer as the 4th annual Art Off the Rails festival returns on Saturday, June 20, 2026. This unique collaborative event, hosted by North Bend Art & Industry (NBA&I), the Northwest Railway Museum, and the Snoqualmie Arts Commission invites visitors to explore the Creative community that is connected by the rails..
Spanning three locations— Snoqualmie (Railroad Community Park & Downtown), theRailway History Campus, and North Bend (William Henry Taylor Park - Depot Park & Downtown) —the festival offers a multi-sensory experience where "creativity knows no bounds."
A Festival in Motion
Unlike traditional stationary art fairs, Art Off the Rails utilizes the Northwest Railway Museum’s historic train as a moving connector. Attendees can purchase train tickets to travel between the Snoqualmie and North Bend depots, enjoying hands-on art projects at every stop.
? North Bend (William Henry Taylor Park): Hosting over 70 regional artist booths, food truck, and a main stage featuring local musical talent, and self-guided walking tours of art studios.
? Snoqualmie (Railroad Community Park & Downtown): Featuring local musicians, artist demonstrations at the Art Gallery of SnoValley, and self-guided walking tours of art studios.
? The Railway History Campus: A middle-ground stop offering live music set against the back drop of the Museum’s historic locomotive collection.
Community & Connection
"Art Off the Rails is more than an event; it’s a celebration of the cultural thread that connects our two cities," says Debra Landers, of North Bend Art & Industry. "By combining the heritage of the railway with the modern pulse of our artist community, we create an experience that is uniquely Snoqualmie Valley."
The festival is free to the public, though tickets for the train rides are recommended to be purchased in advance via the Northwest Railway Museum website:TrainMuseum.org
