The 42nd Annual Islands Folk Festival is presenting a stellar lineup for the whole weekend too! Fun, music, camping, nature and activities for the whole family! 5 STAGES | FREE SHUTTLE | BEVERAGE GARDEN | ON-SITE CAMPING | KIDS ZONE | ARTISAN & FOOD VENDORS Friday night has Canadian rockers Yukon Blonde and local party-band Earthly Delights. Saturday night features Black Umfolosi and banjo synth indie rockers Shred Kelly, and Sunday afternoon will be hot with the latin funk of Los Empanadas Ilegales, closing with a marquee Islands Folk Festival concert by Inuk legend Susan Aglukark. This year’s lineup features an eclectic mix of established Canadian artists and emerging voices including Leeroy Stagger, Natasia Y, Travels with Charley, Alma Narrows, Ed and Gail Peekeekoot, Camille Miller, Noah Zacharin, David Essig, Adam Dobres, Claire Coupland Trio, Big Dirty Boots, Tia Greenwood, Pony Gold, Beverly McKeen, and Novo Drom. To cap it off, we’re so lucky to have Providence Farm as our beautiful festival venue - a verdant place of health and healing, where the birds are always singing and you can smell the fresh flowers.With on-site camping, endless scenery, peaceful walking paths, gardens and views to enjoy, the air is sweet, and the music is sweeter.
