Featuring 30+ Mac & Cheese Samples and Hundreds of Beer Samples, Mac & Cheese Eating Contest, Dad Dance Crew, Flip Cup World Record Attempt and Live Music by Knee Deep Traverse City, MI - Outlier Events, the visionary team behind fan-favorite events like the Tots & Taps Festival, Taco & Tequila Festival, and Donut & Beer Festival, is excited to announce the debut of Michigan’s Mac & Cheese Festival coming to Traverse City this summer. Michigan’s Mac & Cheese Festival will take place on Saturday, June 14, from 5pm to 10pm at Turtle Creek Stadium—the home of the Traverse City Pit Spitters. The iconic festival is coming to Traverse City after a thrilling 6-year journey through Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, Appleton, and Cleveland. “It’s exciting to bring Mac & Cheese Festival to Traverse City for the very first time - it’s been all over Michigan, but northern Michigan food lovers will have this date marked on their calendars” said Bailley Kluisza of Outlier Events. “Turtle Creek Stadium will be host to great mac & cheese creations, live music, various drink offerings and entertainment for everybody that wants to get in on the ‘mac’tion together.” Entertainment for all ages includes a live music performance by Knee Deep - Traverse City’s Favorite Classic Rock Band along with a pre-event Plaza Party. TikTok performer @thatjugglinggirl will also be making appearances. Other activities at Michigan’s Mac & Cheese Festival include a Mac Eating Contest, a Dad Dance Crew and World Record Flip Cup Attempt.
